Pierre Tempel is Director of Product Management for GitHub’s detection and AI-powered remediation engines behind GitHub Advanced Security, Copilot Code Review and Copilot Autofix — enabling thousands of open-source projects and enterprises to detect and fix vulnerabilities before they ship.

At GitHub, Pierre works across engineering, product, and design teams to expand language coverage, performance, and AI-powered autofix capabilities, making advanced application-security tooling both developer-friendly and freely available to the OSS community.

Earlier, he shaped tech strategy and supply-chain-security programs at SolarWinds after its headline supply-chain attack, and previously founded and advised security startups, spoke to governments and media on cyber-risk, and mentored emerging technical leaders. Based in Berlin, he continues to advocate for secure-by-default software development.
